I'm still here..just a bit busy.

I have been neglectful to my blog lately..actually to the computer in general. Things have been wild here.
Dalton is playing baseball and doing really well this year. He is one of the top batters on the team, although he is still rather afraid of getting hit when catching. But he is improving everyday. I think he is doing awesome for it only being his 2nd year playing. I only wish his school work was as good. He is having such a hard time in math this year, well mostly time and money. Now they are in fractions and we shall see how it goes over. Fractions in the 2nd grade..UGH.. Times are sure different than when I went. He is writing totally "cursive" as he says..no more printing allowed. They rush the kids so much now....
Kayleigh has fractured her hand/finger. We will find out tomm. just how bad. Poor thing is so depressed. I do my best to lift her spirits but she still gets down. She is such a "girly" girl. She is rather embarassed of the splint she is wearing right now. She is also a little gymnist and its killing her since she can't do all her flips and flops. Hopefully they will not have to cast it tomm. Its getting swimming season and if she gets a cast ..its 4-6 weeks with NO getting it wet. I'll keep ya posted.
As most of you know we are building onto our home. We are up to the roof. Hopefully by next week we will have a new roof on and then onto doing the insides. Kayleigh is SO excited she is getting her own room. I am thrilled to .. we are so cramped for space right now.
Well I am also in the process of planning my 2 babies birthday parties. Braelynn is going to turn 2 on May 25th and Trinity will turn 4 on May 30th. They will be having a combined party this year.. Still trying to get the theme down.. Trinity wants a Hello Kitty theme and Braelynn is into Strawberry Shortcake and Blues Clues.
And my last time consumption is our garden. I am so excited about this one. I planted our beans and corn last week. I was shocked to see today that it is all coming up... YAY.. We may need some replanting here and there but its looking good so far.. That is if we can keep the chickens out..>ARRR... I was so mad today when I saw one of the neighbors chickens pulling up a bean plant.. Any suggestions on how to keep them out.. We also have tons of rabbits. Hopefully they will not get hungry...lol.. Maybe we are going to have to add a small fence around the entire garden. Another question for you veteran gardeners(I am a newbie).. I already have some little bitty bugs eating on my tomato leaves.. What can I do?? They are little tiny black bugs.. barely visiable.
As for my crochet.. I am trying to finish up some swap items..I am testing a couple projects as well. I'll try to get some pics up later. Actually I have lots and lots of pics to upload later. I have some swap items I have gotten..AWESOME.. I have pics of the garden, the building, the kids.... I hope to get them up soon..
