Hello all. I'm a couple days behind here.. been busy with a bit of everything.
Lets see.. on Friday we went to my MIL's .. my SIL was in for a couple of days. We stayed up singing til like 1:30.. Then on Saturday Dalton had a basketball game. It started at 4:00. He was doing so good and he got tripped and got hurt.. I paniced and couldn't refrain from going onto the court.. Hubby says "you can't run in there everytime he gets hurt"... MEN.. He started crying and didn't get up.. which he would never had done if he wasn't hurt rather bad because he is embarassed to cry in front of people. So I fussed back at hubby and he just laughed of course. Well this morning he got up with a fever and sore throat. His fever peaked at 104.4 so I took him to see the Ped and get his arm(the basketball injury checked just to ease my mind)... Well he was postitive for strept. They also did an x-ray of his arm and we should get the results tomm.. I'm no X-ray tech but I saw the x-ray and I saw a crack. So we just have to wait and see... I think hubby is feeling a bit bad for playing it off when it happened...
Anyways we stayed at my parents on Sat. night. I took a huge bag of wip to work on and didn't even get to pick up a hook due to a migrane.. UGH... It eased that night and I felt better the next day but still got little crochet done.
I won a pattern book on ebay I am really excited about. Its got dresses for toddlers with matching patterns for dolls.. TOO CUTE.... Can't wait to get it in. I also got a strawberry shortcake afghan pattern book and some with kitchen items in it. Now if I can only get around to making them..lol..
I actually got in the spring swap at ville .. I was afraid that I would miss sign ups with so much going on here.. but I made it..YAY... Can't wait to get started spoiling.. I am also in some square swaps and going to be getting some awesome afghans out of them...I'll post pics of them all ....
Well UDATE.. on my friend with the cancer... She had a scan done and they saw no cancer... THANK GOD....Things are really looking up for her. She has one more chemo therapy left and God willing will be on a path to a complete recovery.. I am so thankful for her.
She is the one I am putting the comfortghan together for. I am in the process of joining some right now. I am going to make a couple to finish it off . ... hopefully in the upcoming weeks.
Well only a couple days left til the IMO.. money wasted... holiday of Valentines Day. I'm no scrooge .. don't get me wrong.. I like to get flowers just as much as the next girl.. I just feel spending 60 some odd dollars on a flowers that are going to die in a couple days is kinda like throwing money down the drain. Hubby usually gets me roses and I am really greatful and would probably complain if I got nothing.. I'M TERRIBLE AIN'T I...LOL>>LOL>>> Good luck girls in having a HAPPY VALENTINES DAY....
I want to congratulate my dear friend Melanie .. She gave birth to a beautiful little boy on 2-07-07.. I am truly proud of her and so happy for her and her family.
