Springy weather...

I have gotten a bit behind in blogging. Seems like the days are just passing so quickly and I can't get ahead lately.
We have been blessed with some awesome weather lately and I have been spending alot of time outdoors cleaning and fixing up. The kids have been having a ball.
I thought we were finally all getting well on the health front.. but yesterday my 3 year old started running a low fever..then this morning the 5 year old got up with one. I pray it is nothing and will pass..
POTTY TRAINING... Well we decided to start the official process.. Braelynn had actually been expressing so much interest in going to the potty we are now potty training. She is doing really really well. She still has her days..they all do. And of course we have not even thought of diaperless nights yet..(although the past couple mornings she has awoken dry) I hope to be Diaper free by the end of March or at least April. Not going to pressure of stress though. I learned that is the worse thing to do. I was all stressed over my son, my first. He was almost 2 1/2 before fully trained. BUT like all the dear friends had told me..DON'T PRESSURE him he will do it when HE is ready and not before. NO truer words were spoken on the issue. We did it at his pace and he did great. My second actually broke herself...for the most part... EARLY.. So for all those who have a child in diapers..just watch your child and they will let you know when they are ready to Potty Train...
Well hubby and I actually went to the movies yesterday with no kids. My parents watched the kids while we went to the movies with a couple of friends. We saw the 300... My hubby had been anxiously awaiting the release. It was "GUY" movie, but I had a very nice time. I won't do anything to spoil it if anyone wants to see it .. but there was some heartfelt moments for women included...LOL.... It was nice to get out for a brief time. We had not been to the movies alone (no kiddos) in like 8 years..
I have so much to do this week..Hubby has a friend coming in from Kansas this weekend. I would like to paint the living room and hallway. I just did paint it last spring ..but dd decided to use it for an art canvas and the only solution is to paint over it..I tried everything to get it off..
On the crochet front..I am getting caught up on my swaps and have been so good. I have refrained from joining anything new. The Spring purse swap at ville was my last sign up and I will not be signing up on anymore for a bit. I want to finish up my monthly swaps by going ahead and mailing them all out. I am too absent minded to keep up with them otherwise. I then will limit myself to no more than 2 swaps at a time. I am downgrading my obsession to a hobby. lol..
My father in laws church is having a revival this week and he wants us to come a couple nights. I really would like to go but I don't think it will be until Friday. The kids have school and I like to have them calming down by 9... my goal is to enforce this bedtime. My daughter is usually in bed on her own way before..but my son is a totally different situation. Then he is so tired when he gets up he actually eats his cereal with his eyes closed. A most amusing site..lol..
Well I must go for now. I need to update more often and be less of a rambler...sorry...
