UGH this BUG.....
I am sure everyone is as tired of hearing of this strep "bug" we have been passing back and forth..as I am of dealing with it. It has hit yet again I am afraid.. Last night my baby started feeling bad and running a fever. I am not sure that it is strep but I would not be surprised. She was up til 3:30am and then at 6 was burning up with fever. I gave her motrin and she is now sleeping. I pray that the fever stays under control with motrin so we don't have to make an ER trip.
I have been "spring" cleaning. Yesterday I spent the whole day working in the kitchen. (we are also expecting some guests) I still have so much I want to get done. Once I get started cleaning I can go all day.. getting started is the hard part.LOL. I stand back and look at a much needed task and stall as much as possible.
Due to my little artist I need to repaint the living room and hallway. White walls and crayons do not go well together. I have tried to scrub it off with no success. I just painted it all last spring and now have to do it again..Painting is not my favorite chore.
Clumsy me also got a nice burn yesterday while preparing dinner. The blisters popped ..then reformed overnight. I am a klutz in the kitchen. Dh has banned me from using the good cutlery..lol..
Our television went out on us on Wed. night. Only had it a little over a year. UGH.. We only paid a little over 300 dollars for the TV..now its going to cost 120 to get it repaired... Money money .. every time we turn around we are dishing out money.
Here are a couple pics of some things I got done earlier just now getting around to the pics. I crocheted them both for a couple swaps I am finishing up. The first is a kitchen set. (I have the pattern written up for those of you who wanted the bag holder pattern... I just need to type it out.. soon I promise)
Then here is my "fat bottom bag". This was my first time making this. The lining is giving me a fit.. I put it in..looked good... then after doing the last step...I am afraid it needs to be more secured. Overlook the end showing I still need to tuck them in..
I also want to wish "Chloe" a belated birthday. She is the daughter of a dear friend at Lullabies and Lace. May God bless you now and always.
Thank you to all my dear friends who take the time to read my ramblings..I am so thankful that God has blessed me with so many friends that I have met through my favorite pastime of crochet.
Hugs and blessings to all
